  Good location, good pool and bar/restaurant. The Chang beers were only 50 Baht. Food cheap and very nice too. Cleaning everyday. Accommodation was great, lots of little bungalows in a tropical garden setting. Would recommend and go back there.

  Chalala is the real deal when it comes to an authentic Thai holiday. The resort itself is a little dated but clean and tidy, its got a soul of its own, but what is really impressive is the staff and the food...wow! The staff take the time to understand what you want, the food is probably the best Thai food I have ever eaten. The location is great/perfect! 800 meters out of the party precinct means you’re close enough to walk into town but just far enough to be peaceful. Great happy hour! Cheap cocktails! Value value value! You wont be sorry! Very family friendly.

  This is wonderful resort to stay at in Ko Samui. Beach facing with a lovely and clean pool. The party zone in Chawng is a 10 min stroll away. So you have peaceful nights or can return walking after a long night :) The cleanliness, food and the staff were all first rate. The rooms are actually small bungalows, done with lot of love for detail and beautifully decorated using shells, stones etc. There's plenty of lovely plants, which gives you a feeling of living in the middle of paradise. To top it all the rates were much lower than many fancy sounding/looking nearby ones. We spent 5 nights in mid June 17 and paid 1.2K baht a night. Unbeatable! Fantastic stay!
