  Они сломали Ват Арун! Совершенно уродски отреставрировали, тупо покрасив все белой краской и налепив немного керамики. Запретили подъем выше второго яруса. Мы были тут в 2013 и виды с верхней площадки были лучшие в Бангкоке. Храм нам тогда особенно полюбился. Лучше бы не ходили в этот раз. Подняли цену за вход и за паром через реку. Бангкок уже не тот.

  The famous temple of dawn. Nice place to visit by the riverside. It’s a pity the higher part is closed to the tourist, but understandable. There’s nothing inside, just what you can see from the outside. It’s a small amount, so it is worth paying just to walk around the main tower which represents the famous Mt. Meru. The ordination hall is also worth a visit and it’s just close by. (the one with the two big warriors on the entrance). Entrance is free. Hourly schedule: 8am-5pm Entrance fee: 50Baht

  Il Wat Arun di notte è uno spettacolo, lo si vede da qualsiasi punto di bangkok, illuminato come è splende nell’oscurità lasciando a bocca aperta i turisti. Io l’ho visitato di giorno anche perché ad una certa ora chiude (18) quindi non sarete mai soli purtroppo i turisti lo prendono letteralmente d’assalto ma questo non deve farci desistere perché rimarrete contenti di averlo visto. Lo si raggiunge tramite traghetto da diversi moli, entrata a costi irrisori, si presta a foto bellissime, alla fine potete farvi un giro al mercatini allestito ai suoi piedi in attesa che arrivi il traghetto per portarvi indietro. Fatevi un giro anche nei dintorni perché ci sono altre strutture molto belle e un giardino con delle comode panchine per riposarvi al fresco. La ristrutturazione è terminata ora si può godere di questo monumento appieno.

  Helt klart et besøg værd, var der desværre da det var under renovering.
