::I absolutely love the Udon Star Apartments. It is one of the coolest to stay in the north of Thailand. The rooms are typically huge, especially the top floor suite. And each has it's own little bit of personality to it making it fun to stay... from the phones, to the human bird cage, to the sofa chairs, the Udon Star offers a big fluffy sleep experience. The people here are great too. I would plan a stay in Udon just to hang out here and get some work accomplished in this most pleasant setting.
