  Tourist in distress.... I had left my pouch containing my Passport and Cash on the minibus that took me into the centre of Udon Thani. I realised this within minutes of getting off the minibus - so spoke with a local policeman who's english was excellent. Fortunately I had the minibus receipt and the helpful policeman contacted the minibus company.... within 20mins my pouch was located! The Tourist Police took me back to the airport to retrieve it (all contents were still there).. and the the Tourist Police kindly dropped me back into town just outside my hotel! I was extremely impressed how all this got sorted out so quickly by the local policeman, the minibus company and the Tourist Police!...
