  Shower was nice and HOT, very clean room, private parking area, not terribly close to any particular hot spot but it is near a temple and very lovely place to get away from the city.

  Where to start... The rooms were full of mosquitoes when we arrived, the ceilings have mould, the electrics in the room were not working, we complained about the flickering light globes, the burnt out lights and the fact one light would not turn off... nothing was done.. The beds are substandard and i did not have a proper night sleep. In 3 days our room was never serviced and we had to request clean towels at reception. The photos we saw are probably from when it first opened. Nothing Resort about this place... we checked out early one night.

  The Pantharee Resort isn't really near anything.. Not even a seven eleven. It's about midway between Krabi town and Ao Nang beach. It's also quite close to a busy main road. With these few drawbacks it's a rather pleasant and friendly establishment with affordable rooms. Speaking of rooms, they arent quite equipped with every luxury you might expect but there is enough to get you by. There's a bed (obviously), a chair/desk/mirror combo, LCD TV, fridge and a bathroom with a bath+shower. There is no kettle, safe or hair dryer. The bed is traditionally harder than a European would appreciate but it's not uncomfortable. The rooms are very spacious and have remote control air conditioning installed. Breakfast is available for a small fee and can be delivered straight to your door. Overall, it's first impressions might frighten you off but it certainly has everything you need. During my stay I found the staff to be very accommodating and helpful at every turn. There is a "bus" that runs every 10 minutes from out front of the resort to either Krabi Town or Ao Nang Beach for 50 Baht (Feb-18 - 60 Baht after 18:30). Just ask the staff for help finding the bus the first time.

  Very nice and big rooms, although the AC suffers for this as it takes a while to cool down. The TV doesn't have an audio language switch so even dual language channels don't work, however there is a movie channel that plays in English and Cartoon Network is in English aswell. The bed is comfy and it is a quiet area. It would be five star if it wasn't for the location, I knew it was out of the way but it's a bit much, and at night it is extremely dark walking those roads looking for a songthaew of taxi I don't recommend leaving the hotel after 4-5 and only come back once you are done for the day and have everything you need for the night/morning. Other than that it has been very nice.
