  The hostel was basic, and the location was not the best. Staff was friendly, and the hostel was pretty empty, but I bet that's due to low season. If you choose to stay due to proximity to the airport, transport from here is the same as transport from town.

  The O Yes Hostel in Krabi is a fine hostel, rather conveniently situated close to the bus station and shops selling basic amenities (7Elevens). The hostel is clean and the family running the place is quite friendly and helpful. There are washing machines and tumble dryers, lockers and a small kitchen area. The owners also make basic meals for cheap like fried rice and egg. There is also a TV and DVD player with some DVD's. A friend in our traveling company requested the owner to allow us to connect the TV to the internet which allowed us to watch YouTube videos during the free time we had between activities and travelling. Another positive is that the hostel has two scooters to rent, so you don't have to go searching for scooters to rent in town. We rented scooters all over Thailand and these scooters were perfectly fine. This is certainly not a party hostel, but it is a very comfortable and convenient base to explore Krabi and the surrounding areas from. The rooms are air conditioned and wi-fi is free (as is usually the case in the hostels in Thailand). I would recommend this hostel to travellers who are not too interested in having a huge party every night.

  It's one of the best hostel's that you can get in krabi for more than one reason. Pros- 1) the hospitality you receive here is more than anywhere else. The owners went out of their way to drive us around the city late at night just so that we could get a thai massage and arranged all our touristy activities for us. 2) the facilities are great. You have a lounge with a large TV and movies kept there. There is also a really pretty terrace to relax in. 3) The rooms themselves are really nice and spacious with an attached balcony. 4) It's pretty cheap! Cons- 1) a little ways outside krabi town but it's close to all the attractions like Khao khanab nam and tiger temple.
