::To anyone with experience, Mukdahan's Bus Terminal offers no surprises. A simple average sized terminal with ticket offices arrayed not only within but also in the surrounding buildings, so be sure to check if you're planning a trip with Nakhonchai Air especially. Sahapan Tour offers a rapid and very comfortable VIP bus service to Bangkok in the evenings, while other companies offer more local buses, and even a service all the way to Rayong! Facilities at the terminal are nothing new, a couple of shops with the usual slightly ludicrous prices, filthy toilets with a 3 baht entry charge and the inevitable hundreds of taxi, tuk-tuk and motorcycle drivers hanging around out front. Of note is the Thai-Lao International Bus, departing roughly every hour from 8am to 7pm from the terminal to Savannakhet, across the border in Laos, for an affordable 50 baht ticket price.

::Like any other bus station in Thailand. Efficient. Hot. Busy.
Adrian Mitchell
::Easy place to catch your ride. Also can catch the International bus here for Lao border Savannakhet
Jim Grover
::Ok for a bus station but could use more restaurants nearby. One plus is the old man with the food cart selling hotdogs and sausages... Great dogs

::Fast ticketing service plus the personnel in charge can converse in decent English accent. Food is available around the terminal. Its a bit organize.
