This review is about a Trail not the monkey or their attitude. I love this shirt Trail and completely made our holiday, especially at night , scary but exciting stuff!

Monkeys are aggressive, can bite, and steal stuff. I don't know what people's fascination is with the dirty monkeys we have in Thailand. Stay away from them, they have ticks (got one on my shoulder from monkeys), and they are extremely uncouth. The trail itself is nice, it overlooks the water and limestone karst formations in some parts.

Very nice way to the other, secluded beach aside Ao Nang. Wooden stairway, with bamboo guardrail at the steep parts and sandbags on the trail above for easy walking. In between there are great views to the sea. Before the trail there is a nice small beach, behind the trail there is the amazing Ao Phra Nang Beach, surrounded by mountains, with a spectacular view around and to the sea, though inside, the whole beach except the sandy shore strip apt for swimming and sunbathing, is "private" hotel and resort area. This is quite pityful, as this way, most of the nature protection area, as they call it, is unaccessible for people who don't stay in those high priced resorts and one more fantastic beach has been taken away from the public by private investors.

No monkeys but quite a must see mini trek in Krabi. You can visit the beach in the other side. It's quite nice

Basing this review on the fact that there were no monkeys when I walked it. Otherwise, it's fairly scenic with some nice views of the beach through the jungle foliage. Do not wear thongs/flip flops/slippers as it can be very steep at parts, with the steps being a bit narrow. Some steps are a little loose (wooden boardwalk/stairs) as well. In my opinion, you should have some moderate level of fitness to walk it.
