::I have been to Mahasarakham and find that it is a very nice place with lots of friendly people. I lived there and worked there for 2 years. I actually still have friends and family that live there now. Highly recommended to those wanting not to spend tourist prices on places to stay. The border to Laos is not far either for those wanting to renew their passport visa.
