Unfortunately the staff at the Greek Embassy in Bangkok is not helpful at all... If you need a Schengen Visa better try another embassy..

I tried this embassy once as I was travelling with my Thai wife to Greece first and after to the Netherlands. Totally useless people. Gave up and went to the Dutch embassy instead. Good for me I am a Dutch citizen. I feel sorry for the people who have to deal with the Greek embassy. If I could I would rate it minus 3 stars

I wouldn't recommend to use a service of the Greece embassy for visa application. This advice for non-thai and for non EU residents who lives in Thailand and wants to get tourist Shengen visa. They issue only short-term visas and not accept legal documents from other countries. Not happy and not make a hike to Greece. Will go to somewhere else.

The efficiency of the embassy (especially as compared to others) shows part of the reason why Greek economy is not going well. I came at 10:10 AM, got a queuing number of 13, and now they're just starting to process number 6 (and I've waited here for a solid 2.5 hours already). There seems to be some sort of queue jumping as well, which is extremely confusing. They're only collecting documents - not even any interview is given! I've applied for a visa to UK and France in Bangkok and both embassies (or their out-sourced agencies) are far more efficient. Come on Greece!
