::Not my choice. Tastes terrible. Super expensive.

::I would give this place a zero star because the food tasted horrible, chicken tikka was under cooked. Iâm skeptical about food being Halal. If I were you I would be cautious.
Sky Bolt
::Tasty food, good portions, fairly priced. One way to quickly check an Asian restaurant's pricing is what's the charge for a bowl of steamed rice. Akbar, 30 baht US$1 only 20 metres away another place charges 120 baht US$4 as do many other places in Bangkok. Akbar's other menu items are more fairly priced than others along Suhkumvit between Soi 10 & 19. The Akbar interior is delightful with table cloths and staff in lovely rose patterned long dresses. Good AirCon. Owner speaks good English and most helpful with explanations of items on the menu. Usual 10% service fee is added. Do make the effort to have a meal at Akbar.
