  This is a Buddhist temple founded by Ajahn Chah. They have an event annually, every January 16th, on his passing. People will be coming from over all Thai and around the world for this Event, so around this time of year the temple is very busy. It runs for about a week, and the main day is the 16th with approximately 10000-20000 people daily and on the main Event it can get up to 50000+ people. So if you planning to visit the temple prepare yourself. But most of the time it’s very peaceful and quiet temple.

  The monastery founded by Luang Pu Chah (Ajahn Chah). An annual commemoration ceremony will be held from 11 Jan to 17 Jan, where Buddhists will come to meditate, listen to the dhamma talks, perform dana and camp. Camping is free, bring your own tent. Food is free. An annual time for the disciples of Luang Pu Chah to recollect and practise the teachings of their teacher and Buddha.
