  Very poor hotel is very dirty towels unuseable no tv no tea making facility Booked for 2 nights but left after first night

  A great boutique hotel on the Maekong River, only a handful of rooms each one individually designed, beautiful tropical courtyard with Thai sculptures and fishpond, garden coffee shop and professional barista available all hours. Breakfasts are enormously generous and aroy maak (delicious). By far the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered. They are always free ready to meet your requirements, yet invisible if you are seeking solace or relaxation. I had the misfortune of a road accident, knocking two young riders from their bike. A daunting experience when I don't speak Thai and the local authorities in Nong Kai speak limited English. Staff guided me through complicated local processes relating to contact with the police, communicating with insurance representatives and negotiating compensation for the young girls on the bike. Their translation assistance was invaluable to me and at one point they attended the police station with me for a whole afternoon. Thank you Mak and others! Highly recommended alternative to large hotels.... I will return.

  Beautiful little riverside hotel, awesome breakfast, amazing view... manager Mak provided us with everything we could want... you can keep your big hotels, this is where I'll be staying for now on
