::DISCLAIMER: THE 1 STAR IS ONLY FOR THE FRAGRANCE DEPARTMENT ON 1ST FLOOR I'm local and generally have good experiences with other departments in this mall. Went there today to sample some fragrances. While they have a good selection of them available e.g. JPG, Paco Rabanne, Giorgio Armani, Versace, YSL etc, I wasn't the least bit impressed with the customer service. The staff didn't look very interested helping me or talking to me about fragrances I was testing. In fact, when I asked to try YSL La Nuit De L'Homme, he seemed very reluctant to spray it on a piece of paper for me. While some people may be OK with blind-buying fragrances, I like to test at least 7-8 or even 10 scents before choosing the right one. However, today I only tested 2 scents before arriving at YSL! Ergo I found the attitude of the staff, quite frankly, ludicrous. How did he expect me to know if I like a fragrance or not if he didn't allow me to smell it? Shopping for fragrances, at least for me, isn't like ordering a new food item on the menu where I find out whether I like or dislike the food AFTER I've paid for it. It is about knowing what I love or hate BEFORE I even open the wallet. On top of that, when I asked if they had Versace Eros, the staff just stood there and stared at me blankly. I probably stood there and stared back at him for good 5 seconds. "No we don't have it," he replied blatantly. "Versace Eros. You know? The brand over there," I said pointing at the signage. By then I had already repeated my questions three times. (And let me be clear, I am a Thai and I conversed in Thai with him.) Finally his eyes widened and he replied with a condescending tone, "OH! Ver-sa-CHAE! It's over there!" I was in awe. God damn, I watched like 100+ fragrance reviews on Youtube and every single one of the reviewers pronounces that stuff as Ver-sa-CHI all the time. I must've looked like a fool to him. Nevermind "my" embarassment in pronouncing Versace incorrectly. Went over to Versace section. Same thing: staff was disinterested and unwilling to help. Definitely a MUST-VISIT if you want good selection of fragrances at prices WAY higher than the duty-free shops in the airports around the world (obviously!) with complimentary appalling customer service. NOTE: If you want to test/purchase Versace from here, please tell them "Ver-sa-CHAE" or you'll end up looking like a fool. Have a great day!

::For an ultra deluxe, super nice department store, this place is actually pretty affordable. True, you can blow a full year's salary on a small bucket of SK-II lotions, but not everything here is insanely expensive. The people that work here are very friendly and helpful. The people on the 1st floor are especially beautiful, since they spend all day putting on the expensive makeup in the stores. The perfumes smell nice, but not too strong when you're walking through. They have great elevators in the back.
